Terms And Conditions
Cancellation Policy.
The cancellation penalty shall be determined by Drifters Haven, in its discretion, based on the figures indicated in the Pro-Forma Invoice and having regard to the length of notice of cancellation, the reasonable potential to find another guest between the time of receiving the cancellation notice and the time of cancelled reservation and the general practice in the hotel and leisure industry.
All rooms that have been confirmed will be held until 22h00 on the scheduled date of arrival at which time the Guest House may re-let the room without further notice, unless notified of a late arrival.
Cancellation charges will be calculated based upon the figures and details provided in the Pro-Forma Invoice.
Cancellation Policy Individual Guests.
- Cancellation within – 7 days, liable for full account.
- Cancellation within – 14 days of arrival, liable for 50% of the account.
- Failure to arrive on booking date, guest will be held liable for full account.
- In the event of a premature departure the full extent of the stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.
- All rooms that have been confirmed will be held until 22h00 on the scheduled date of arrival at which time the Guest House may re-let the room without further notice, unless notified of a late arrival.
Cancellation Policy Group Bookings.
- Cancellation within – 14 days, liable for the full account.
- Cancellation within 15 – 28 days (4 weeks) liable for 50% of the account.
- Failure to arrive on booking date, person/company responsible will be held liable for full account.
- In the event of a premature departure the full extent of the stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.
- All rooms that have been confirmed will be held until 22h00 on the scheduled date of arrival at which time the Guest House may re-let the room without further notice, unless notified of a late arrival.
Disclaimer Of Liability.
All Guests Agree As A Condition Of Their Stay On Our Guest House, That Drifters Haven (Pty) Ltd, And The Owner, Manager And/ Or Operator Of The Hotel And Their Affiliates And Respective Shareholders, Directors, Employees, Agents And Representatives (Collectively Drifters Haven Guest House) Shall Not Be Responsible Or Liable, To The Fullest Extent Permitted By Law, For Any Accidents Or Any Injury Or The Loss Or Destruction Or Damage To Any Property, Whether Arising From Fire, Theft Or Any Other Cause Whatsoever And By Whomsoever Caused Or Arising From The Negligence Or Wrongful Acts Or Omissions Of The Drifters Haven Guest House.
All Guests Irrevocably And Unconditionally Indemnify And Agree To Hold Harmless The Drifters Haven Guest House In Respect Of Any Responsibility And / Or Liability Of Such Claims.
Check In / Check Out
Check-In Time 14:00. Check-Out Time 11:00. Early Check-In And Late Check-Out Are Subject To Availability.
Extended Check-Out And/ Or Early Check-In Will Result In Additional Charges.
Acknowledgements
Guests / Guest Party Acknowledge That:
The Public Areas Of The Hotel And General Hotel Premises Are Monitored By Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Guests Consent To The Use Of Any Surveillance Material In A Court Of Law Should Such Use Thereof Become Necessary In The Sole Opinion Of The Drifters Haven Guest House.
Drifters Haven Guest House Reserves The Right To Determine Acceptable Levels Of Noise Or Behavior Of Guests. Guests Will Be Required To Leave The Hotel If They Are Causing A Disturbance, Annoying Other Guests, Or Hotel Staff Or Are Behaving In An Otherwise Unacceptable Manner In The Sole Opinion Of The
Guest House Management.
The Guest/S Is Responsible For The Cost Of Any Damage Caused To The Rented Accommodation Or Contents During Their Stay. The Guests Agree To Advise/Inform The Guest House Reception As Soon As Possible Of Any Such Damage.
Guests Are Personally Liable For All Charges Incurred During Their Stay And If Guests Do Not Check Out At The Front Desk Prior Their Departure, Guests Authorize The Hotel To Process All Charges Incurred During Their Stay To The Credit/Debit Card Presented On Check-In.
Guests Accept Full Responsibility For The Actions Of The Children Under Their Control And Due To That All Damages Caused By Children They Will Be Payable By The Elders/Guardians.
· Guests Accept That All Matters Arising From, Or In Connection With This Document, Its Validity, Existence And Operation, Shall Be Determined In Accordance With The Laws Of The Republic Of South Africa.
